About School

Shree Kanti Mandir Secondary School was established in 2017 B.S. with the motto of providing quality and practical education. It is located in the western part of Lamjung District at Purkang in Parewadanda VDC ward no. 6. In the beginning it was set up Primary School in activeness and dedication and founder of this school.

It is on the lap of the Green hill and surrounded by the villages. It is twenty kilometers south west from district headquarter. There are facilities of the road, electricity and drinking water in the school. The road from sunder bazaar is linked with the school.

The school has been running by facing with many obstacles and problems since it was set up. It was primary in 2017 B.S. then it had been Propositional Lower Secondary School in 2036 B.S. It was permitted up to class seven from government in 2051 B.S. Now it is running as propositional Secondary School. Most of the students are from poor family. The backward groups are also facing poor economic condition and many financial, physical manufacture and other problems. There are four buildings in the school. Among them one big building is in poor condition. The present economical condition of the school is it has received assistance from different resources and sectors.

To run the school we’re getting donation from government, charity, guardians, community, forest v.d.c. or d.d.c., N.G.O, INGO/SIP, fee from students for primary and lower secondary teachers. So it has many economic problems to uplift for this school. If any agencies, organization or NGO, INGO want to provide assistances, the school always welcomes and grateful to them.
